A new place to come and share!

Founder of the Women’s Centre Sari Pollen goes to her family village in Payangan a couple of times a week to visit her parents and her sister’s house. Her sister India has a chicken farm with lots of land. Sari made a plan for this land so it can also be used for PKP Women’s Centre activities.

The land of her sister India already serves as a workplace for women. India and Sari hire women that live in Payangan to clean the ground and take care of nature. It is a beautiful place where a lot of fruit grows and people love to come to just sit and relax.

Sari decided to build a place where kids can play and have fun. She gathered attributes like old car tires and ropes and created a playground. Kids that live in the village now come and play almost every day when they have time. Check out the pictures below to see the kids having fun!

Next to the playground, Sari build a space where activities of the Women’s Centre can be held. The space is already used for the beauty class, English class and the bamboo bike project.

PKP Women’s Centre strives for more places where women and children can go for activities and learn from each other. Everyone is a teacher, Every place is a school and Every moment is a lesson. If you would like to help to make this place even better, please consider sponsoring our activities or make a donation through PayPal. Together we can build a better future for these women en children!
